Gather ‘round, kiddos, it’s story time! Longish I guess, but I’ve kinda wanted to share this for a while.
When I first saw Monster High dolls online, I loved them. They looked like the kind of doll I would have loved to play with as a little girl. Every time I went to a store I’d pass the doll…
Glad I’m not the only one that feels this way. I passed up on an original spectra in a toys r us due to strange looks from parents and a judgemental boyfriend(at the time). I was kicking myself all the way out of that store saying I’d go back when it was less busy so I wouldn’t feel so bad. Of course the doll was gone and I wouldn’t see her again ever. I eventually was in a Walmart farting about when I wandered down the (empty) doll aisle. A torelie caught my eye and this time I wasn’t going to walk away. That was the start to a collection of now over 125 dolls. I may have a problem but damnit they make me happy and give me a reason to get out of the house. They’ve also helped me get over my fears of what other people think. I’m 24 and I don’t care if I buy dolls, it’s my choice not anyone else’s. give me all the weird looks ya want >:)
I’m glad so many different people are into monster high, it’s nice to know you aren’t alone.
